The Academy of Aviation (Pty) Ltd has been established since 2008.
Our key business is upskilling in the aviation industry. Initially our operations were based at Lanseria International Airport. The company moved premises in January 2019 to allow for better facilities and to be able to accommodate our students, encompassing that philosophy that students stay on the premises, immersing themselves to live, eat and breathe aviation for the duration of their training.
We focus on range of aviation related training and upskillment in the aviation industry. We continue to strive to add further courses in this industry, developing future aviators, our passion.
We offer recurrent training for Qualified Pilots and Cabin Crew, these pilots travel in daily for the various courses we offer.
We also offer soft skills training – CRM, SEPT, AVSEC, First Aid, Crew Fire Fighting, DG.
We also offer various Flight Attendant/Cabin Crew training for students wanting to qualify with a SACAA Licence. As a register ATO (Aviation Training Organisation) we adhered to strict legislation of this organisation. Our qualification is internationally recognised. SACAA/1056/ATO
In line with the 4th IR (Industrial Revolution) we offer Drone Pilot courses. Multi -Rotor, Fixed-Wing and Instructors The Theory and Practical are done at our premises which is authorised the SACAA.
Our Instructors, are all highly qualified, with years of experience in the aviation industry and passionate about aviation. We strive to work and train in a healthy positive and highly motivated environment.
